Being in a position where you have the ability to choose your reactions and how you let emotions get the best of you is simply a chance to not let negative vibes overcome you. A positive mind frame is what’s needed to keep focus on your goals. Every now and then you may come to realize that’s impossible to do. Negative thinking is an automatic reaction when you’re not in line with what you planned. It takes discipline and practice to allow yourself to ignore this feeling that makes you give in to the pressure that surrounds you on a daily basis.

It’s not that I’m saying just walk away from the problem and ignore it, but the main point I’m trying to make is don’t let it become you. Don’t allow yourself to feast on the reaction to negative vibes. It’s easier to blow it off and move on to the things that will satisfy you in life. Most of the things we find ourselves upset about is petty issues. If you were to ask yourself, “What was I mad about last week?” you probably  wouldn’t even remember.

From experience, some things in life that should upset me actually make me laugh. I don’t too much complain or confront a person or situation that I feel is trying to destroy me. It’s like an inside joke between me and God because I know the outcome on all things is a win in my favor no matter what people may do. So I laugh at wrong doings that come my way. Apply this tactic to the way you live your life and remember He keeps His promises so whatever happens let it happen. On the flip side use these situations as stepping stones. I see people everywhere no matter where I am complain about how their life isn’t going as planned or they are depressed on something out of their control. I’m writing this to say…Don’t give the enemy the satisfaction. Don’t let the ways of the world break you. Just know for everything you go through, allow it to make you become a stronger person and not one that is weak.

Joshua 1:6,7: ”Be strong and courageous, for you are the one who will lead these people to possess all the land I swore to their ancestors I would give them.Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the instructions Moses gave you. Do not deviate from them, turning either to the right or to the left. Then you will be successful in everything you do.

Let God use you to bring into the kingdom the blessings of your talents and great personalities. Be inspiring to someone who may need uplifting and tell others that you see doing great work how good they are performing . Pass the love around to build minds into long lasting powerful souls who will enjoy the concept of being all they can be. Let God use us as, He made you in His image and likeness so allow Him to work through you in some sort of way so you can be a blessing to someone.

Sometimes we can get caught up trying to achieve all of the goals we are working for when all God wants is for you to reach out and help someone else. I have had a few people around me say “What is my talent? What am I good at?” People see me living out my dreams and going after the things I love and they wonder why it’s so easy for me to accomplish what I am going after. I also realize many people have no idea how to find their talent or even know where to start trying to find out what it is. I usually tell them whatever they can’t stop thinking about, something they love doing everyday, and anything they would do even if they aren’t getting paid is what their passion is. You just have to find a way to make it useful to the world.

The same goes with my business. I always stumble on entrepreneur’s who have no idea in what direction to take their concepts. It is my passion to help in ways one couldn’t imagine to bringing their dreams to life.

Once you figure out your skills, just let God use you by reaching out to people, be an inspiration. Make the world smile with your smile and everything will start coming together.

By understanding and having faith that He has given me this talent for a reason opens a whole new outlook on life and the things He has promised me. Although I remain excited about all the things I am able to accomplish, I continue to celebrate the capability that allows me to create for others in making their project a dream come true. The love of art and seeing the smiles on people’s face that experience what I do is the greatest one can possibly ever dream of. I can’t imagine how it would feel to have a dream or a vision and not be able to bring it from your mind to reality. The creative aspect is why I am honored people trust me with their projects.

The events that has been happening in my life this year has taken steps towards the direction I have wanted to go for a long time. I have no doubt  this path I am being lead on is the path God has set for me. I know it because I asked Him for it. When it all begins to happen I can’t say I am shocked, but I can say I knew it was going to happen because I believe in Him and He answers prayers.

Recently I created a Facebook post that said: God is amazing. I have been working on a project I was going to launch this weekend, but production was held up a day and then tomorrow is Good Friday among a few other things so it (the project) got pushed back a week or two. In the process I began working on something new. Now that I think about it, what I am creating on this new project will only enhance what I was planning in the first place. When you allow God to fill you and work through you, things happen that wouldn’t happen if He wasn’t involved. When you build a relationship with Him, things start making sense. I wish I could go into details. Maybe soon enough I will. I should do a video blog or write a book. Better yet. I may do a follow up blog on this. Be on the look out.

In this blog I am confident on the moves that are being made, and the opportunities that have approached me. Everything is falling in place. Even when you think it isn’t, if you keep God first He will always be 100 steps ahead of you. Don’t make excuses, nothing should stop you from doing what it is you really want to do. And don’t shy away from your dreams because you think it’s not going as you planned. It’s not your job to worry about that, keep working and you will see it eventually all work out.

It’s plain and simple. Life doesn’t have to be as hard as you think it is. Sometimes you can over think your way out of a situation. Just feel the vibe and learn how to listen to God as He guides you. Nothing I have  done in my life has been given to me without hard work. Before I started writing these blogs I didn’t really know where I wanted to go with them. I just knew I wanted to inspire people in ways I was inspired to keep doing what I am doing.  I remember before I started using my talents to serve the Lord, things didn’t come this easy. It was times before I started helping church ministries I recall not being able to get a door to open for me if my life depended on it. I learned to keep using the talent God gave me for a purpose to help others. At first I was just having fun with my art and not really using it for the reason I was given this talent. So I found a way to work for Him and He pays me back by supplying me with the things I’m working towards.  Besides that It’s all in a matter of will you let him do the work for you?

Don’t make a move without him. You will know when He is working. That’s when you make the move. In all my blogs I always try to relate to others and write about things I have went though or things that I may be struggling to overcome. It’s amazing  what can happen if you keep going because you know the outcome will be positive if you don’t give up. Don’t change your path or route because something isn’t working out. Continue to stay on that path and keep your focus on the main objective. If you have something you love doing keep planning it and building. Sometimes you may build and re-build, change things, and start over but that’s part of the process. Don’t settle. Believe. I sit and think sometimes, what If I stopped drawing and designing when those jobs I applied for turned me down? What if I didn’t keep going towards my dream of owning a media company. Just to enjoy a lot of different things going on in my life because I chose not to give up is a reward knowing God is listening to me. He is listening to you too.

Ever wonder why you go through certain situations and then later on your like, “ooooooh, So that’s why God took me through that?  Even though times get hard you come back out a better person. Keep this as a reminder for all we will experience in 2013. Make your life better and don’t repeat the things you went through in 2012 that you’re not proud of. Find positive in 2013 and forget the past. If you run into one of those situations you don’t like, just remember it’s part of your learning experience. Focus and keep it moving.

Then, remember all the things that did work for you in 2012 and use those as tools to guide you on your new path. It’s a jungle out there and you will come to realize you’re not the only one hungry. You have to be strong and go after what you want. There will be all kinds of distractions trying to throw you off your path, but only you can pray for the wisdom to be able to stay on it.

Know your strengths. What’s your talent? Find something you love to keep you focused. I just so happen to know what my God given talent is and I know the way in which God wants me to use it. Yes, I been a artist all my life, but I haven’t known the exact way I was to use this gift until I asked. Don’t be afraid to confide in the Lord. I believe that is what helped me make it through 2012. Ever heard the saying “An idle mind is the devils playground?” Basically, keep your mind on God, your path, and focus on the next step. Don’t let the enemy get to you. You can win!
